- Toll Evasion: When you drive through a lane without a valid Palmetto Pass tag being properly mounted in your vehicle.
- Insufficient Funds: When your account is insufficient and you travel through an “Palmetto Pass Only” lane.
- Equipment Malfunction: When you drive through a lane and your Palmetto Pass Transponder is defective.
- Are motorcycles eligible for an Palmetto Pass account?
- Yes. Login to your account and go to Vehicle/transponder Maintenance, Request Additional transponders.
- Do I need to register all my vehicles?
- Yes. You should provide the Cross Island Parkway Customer Service Center with details of all vehicles which will use your Palmetto Pass account.
- I need receipts for business. Will I still get them in the Palmetto Pass lanes?
- No, a receipt is not available for Palmetto Pass transactions. Your transactions will be listed on your bi-monthly statement, which is available by hard copy or email.
